Jamaican pie or Jamaican patty refers to a savory pastry commonly found in Jamaica and some of the nearby Caribbean countries. It resembles a turnover, but consists of a flaky golden piecrust, tinted with egg yolk and turmeric powder, and traditionally filled with seasoned ground beef.
