You might wonder, why a dumpling? A dumpling is a bite of something ordinary yet satisfying, born in the heart of our home kitchens. It symbolizes our mission: “Striving to bring safe and delicious food to the world with automation production solution.”

Decades ago, ANKO’s founder, Robert Ouyoung, traveled the world to promote his dumpling machines. During his journey, he discovered that while traditional dough-wrapped filled delicacies are found everywhere and may look similar, they represent different culinary traditions that are cherished in people’s hearts. Mr. Ouyoung was moved by a mission to preserve and honor these timeless culinary legacies.

In recent years, under the leadership of General Manager Richard Ouyang, ANKO has established an irreplaceable position on the international stage. Amidst global supply chain shifts and food safety challenges, Richard has infused the brand with the spirit of “Benefit for All”.

ANKO’s goal is clear: to leverage the company’s influence within the global food manufacturing industry to support high-quality local food producers, provide equipment that meets strict regulations, and design products that prioritize the environment.

In the spirit of ANKO’s core values—Innovation, Accountability, Passion, and Benefit for All—the company is announcing a creative collaboration with the renowned Taiwanese illustration studio, U&S studio. We have created a new character and brand ambassador to carry the spirit of every “ANKOr” and serve as the guardian of our mission. Together, we are proud to introduce: ANKOKO!

Dumplings are the world’s most versatile culinary language. ANKOKO’s design draws from ANKO’s roots: the dumpling. His palette—beige-white paired with vibrant grass-green—is a homage to Taiwan’s classic pork and cabbage filling. ANKOKO represents the ANKO team’s spirit: approachable, high-energy, and driven by the motto 'Safe and delicious! Rest assured in every bite.' He strikes a perfect balance between professional precision and a fresh appetite for innovation.

ANKOKO’s birth wasn't all smooth sailing. The marketing team agonized over names, from the overly academic Dr. ANKO to the mysterious AJO.

Ultimately, ANKOKO' won us over. In Mandarin, the rhythmic “KO-KO” is an onomatopoeia for the solid thud of a door as we knock—symbolizing ANKO’s proactiveness in knocking on our clients’ doors to deliver our expertise. It also captures the steady, satisfying heartbeat of our automated production lines: KO-KO... and another spotless, plump dumpling is born.

Transforming a humble dumpling into a chic, professional icon was no small feat. But ANKOKO has arrived to charm the global food industry!
