Kariman is a type of fried sandwich, invented by the Japanese convenient store franchise chain (ミニストップ株式会社). Kariman sandwiches are usually made with white sandwich bread, stuffed with either cheese and ham, tuna or burgoo (pork stew) as fillings, coated with a layer of egg wash, breaded with panko (Japanese breadcrumbs) and then deep-fried into crispy sandwiches.

How to make Kariman by our high quality machine?

ANKO's DS-650 Dough Sheeter and the PMM-500 Semiautomatic Puff Pastry Making Machine are recommended for producing kariman and other stuffed pastries such as Calzone, cronuts or empanadas. DS-650 is programed with 20 groups of memories, with each up to 24 pressing process and thickness settings for making plain or puff pastries at approximately 6kg-8kg per batch. And PMM-500 is designed to further process the rolled out dough belts; first to press the dough belt into desired thickness and the fillings are automatically extruded and are encrusted in the dough belts, and finally it's folded and cut in individual stuffed pastries with specific mold. Depending on the final product size and types of filling, it has the maximum capacity from 1,500pc/hr up to 2,400pc/hr. ANKO's dough sheeter can store 20 groups of memory and 24 settings in each group. For different kinds of dough, thickness, dusting volume, and conveyor speed are adjustable as required. The conveyor with servo motor features controllable speed depending on dough characteristics. The dough pressed by DS-650 retains the extensibility for the sequential production of flaky scallion pancake, layered pastry, paratha, puff pastry, cronut, etc., with crispy layers.
